Alexandra (Alex) Kulas is the Founder and CEO of ProducKIDvity.

Inspired by her own experience balancing business and motherhood, Alex created ProducKIDvity to challenge traditional models of childcare and workspaces. Her vision is to build environments where parents no longer have to choose between building meaningful careers and raising their families. Under her leadership, ProducKIDvity has grown into a unique ecosystem that brings together high-quality childcare, coworking, and community programming designed to help families thrive.

Prior to founding ProducKIDvity, Alex was the founder of a marketing agency based in Edmonton, which she successfully grew and exited through a sale in 2021. Her entrepreneurial experience across multiple industries continues to shape the innovative and community-driven approach behind ProducKIDvity.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management and is currently pursuing her MBA. She was featured on Season 19 of Dragons’ Den and is the winner of Canada’s Total Mom Pitch, recognizing her innovative approach to supporting working parents. Alex is also the recipient of the Lethbridge College Alumni Rising Star Award and was named one of Kelowna’s Top 40 Under 40 for her entrepreneurial impact and leadership.

In addition to her work with ProducKIDvity, Alex is the co-host of The Underestimated Club podcast, where she shares candid conversations about entrepreneurship, resilience, and the realities of building businesses while raising a family.

Alex is a Terry Fox Humanitarian Award recipient, an honour that holds deep personal significance. Her inspiration for community involvement began with her grandmother, who organized the Terry Fox Run in her hometown for many years. Today, Alex continues that legacy by interviewing high school applicants for the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award and hosting ProducKIDvity’s own annual Terry Fox Run to raise funds and awareness.

Alex lives in Calgary, Alberta with her daughter Leighton, her boy-girl twins Declan and Sienna, her cat Kitty Roosevelt, and her dog Dolly. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, playing a mediocre round of golf, and spending time with family and friends.
